Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Warton. This role is mostly remote, with a couple of visits to site per month.

What you'll be doing:

• Independently reviewing a range of software products, across current and future platforms.
• Producing IV&V plans and monitoring and reporting progress against them.
• Contributing to the development and improvement of software processes.
• Providing ad-hoc consultancy and support to other safety-critical software development programmes

Your skills and experiences:

• A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in Software Engineering with Embedded systems
• Understanding of the Software Engineering Life Cycle
• Working knowledge of software engineering related standards, particularly RTCA DO-178C, but also other defence and civil standards
• Working knowledge of the Ada and SPARK programming language and data flow analysis experience
• Understanding of Model Based System Engineering techniques (specifically SysML & SCADE)
